According to the data released by the Passenger Transport Association, the retail sales of narrow passenger vehicles in April alone reached 1.57 million units, of which 500000 units were sold in new energy retail, with a penetration rate of 31.8%. The new energy vehicle industry in China has proposed that in 2010, based on the current power battery warranty period in the market, taking BYD as an example, its warranty period is 8 years or 150000 kilometers, with a lifetime battery cell warranty, over 2000 cycles of charging and discharging, and theoretically over 200000 kilometers of normal use.

According to time, the first batch of people to put new energy electric vehicles into use have almost reached the deadline for replacing batteries.

Generally speaking, the batteries of new energy electric vehicles will encounter problems such as difficulty in charging, slow charging, decreased mileage, and low battery storage when used normally until the end of life insurance. Therefore, they need to be replaced in a timely manner to avoid decreased user experience and safety hazards.

It is expected that by 2050, China's new energy vehicle replacement batteries will reach a peak period. At that time, the issue of recycling batteries will come with it.

At present, there are enterprises that produce and recycle their own power batteries in the domestic power battery recycling industry. The self produced batteries and products, while being sold, also have a project to recycle batteries. Recycling production and recycling is a better guarantee method for enterprises. The cells in the recycled battery are packaged and recycled for professional machine testing, and the cells with still qualified performance are bundled and combined with similar cells to continue manufacturing into batteries. According to estimates, the cost of recycled batteries can reach 6w per ton. After recycling, they can be sold to battery raw material manufacturers for cell manufacturing, and can be sold to 8w per ton, with a profit margin of about 12%.



However, according to the current situation of the power battery recycling industry, there are still small, chaotic, and poor situations. Most companies come upon hearing the news, although they do indeed recycle quantitative tiered power batteries. However, due to the simple pursuit of benefits and inadequate technology, simply processing the recycled batteries can easily lead to significant environmental pollution.
